Hi, I'm Thor

Looking back, one could say my journey to becoming a product designer was almost predestined. Coming from a family of lifelong teachers, the concept of using your skills to help others was instilled in me at a young age. Constant exposure to the world of science from my father fostered in me the power and ability to be analytical. Art, taught by my mother, helped me to understand my creative and expressive side.

Having been a designer for over seven years now, I've found design to be the union of these two skills. However, it wasn’t until I discovered the world of UX that I realized GOOD design, much like good teachers, is the ability to apply empathy at every stage. By doing this, we can create products centered around real people and real experiences.

If there is anything I hope my work accomplishes at the end of the day, it is to have created something that improves people’s lives and betters the world we live in.
